Saturday was a fun-filled day. After hunting for eggs, we took Sadie shoe shopping. She's been in her silvery gold heart shoes for a while, and we thought it might be time to move up a size. We walked in to the mall through the Forever 21 entrance and although the crazy thumping music may exhaust some, Sadie adored it. She was dancing in James' arms with her hands up. Sadly, we had to keep walking if we were every going to purchase shoes. We were right about her growing feet. Turns out, she is now a size 5! Here are the sandals we bought. They are her first pair of sandals and first pair of "big girl" shoes with a harder bottom so she won't feel every little pebble on the playground.

The funniest event, though, was when we were finished Sadie wanted to walk by herself. I put her bag on her arm and she LOVED it. She walked out of Striderite and down the mall (paying no mind to mall traffic) back to the thumping music of Forever 21. She said "hi" to several groups of people and they seemed enchanted with her tiny little sense of purpose and joy. She even stopped to look at an outfit in the window of Justice, a preteen girls' clothing store. Hilarious. Here she is enjoying a leisurely stroll down the mall with her old shoes in her new Striderite bag:

| Ahhhh, I love shopping. |
After shopping for shoes, we went to buy some flowers for our front yard. Sadie love seeing and touching all the beautiful flowers. She even had a random passerby suggest that we take a picture of her sitting with the flowers because she looked so cute! Her favorite were these purple flowers. She kept touching them and even leaned in to "smell" them! We just had to work at not slapping the flowers occasionally when she grew more and more excited with looking at them.

| How much for the polka dotted petunia? |
After much debate, we decided on Zinnias and Spreading Petunias. We also purchased Sweet Potato Vines (nothing to do with potatoes) and Caladiums for our front tree. James and Dad worked all afternoon Sunday to finish the work and the results were great. The yard looks beautiful! See for yourself! :)
