Aside from having wonderful teachers this year, Sadie was also able to enjoy the many fun events like the pizza and art show and the annual Flowering of the Cross. Each child brought a flower from home to put on the cross during their worship time. It was so sweet and I was able to sneak in and watch Sadie go up front to lay her flower on the cross. Afterward, I snapped a few pictures of her sitting in front of the newly-flowered cross with her Easter craft she made in class - a nest made out of a brown paper bag with little plastic eggs inside! What a sweet way to celebrate Easter!
